I have sensitive skin. Can I have still have an allergic reaction?

Yes. Please understand that even though all our products are all natural, some of skin types may have allergic reactions. Please do a skin patch test first, then wait 24-48 hours for possible reaction.

How to do a skin patch test:

1. Place a small amount of the natural produt onto a saucer dish.
2. Dab a small amount of the natural product on the pulse of your wrist or the crook of your elbow.
3. Leave the natural product unwashed for a period of 24 - 48 hours.
4. Watch for signs of an allergic reaction. Typical signs will include redness, a rash, any form of breakouts on the skin, itchiness, pain, flaking etc. Some people may also experience nausea or respiratory reactions. If any of these signs present themselves, cease use immediately and contact your health professional to discuss the reaction.
5. If there is no reaction, continue to use the natural product as it is likely that the preparation is compatible for your skin type. Keep vigilant however, because sometimes it can be the level of application that can impact you adversely and in this case, it is important to cease immediate usage if any signs of an allergic reaction occur.

How do I use the natural body scrubs?

Mix the scrub and scoop onto wet skin. Gently massage in circular motions with the finger tips. Rinse well and pat skin dry. Your skin will feel satiny smooth and totally nourished. They are handcrafted with the finest of natural ingredients and pure essential oils.

Our natural skin care product body scrubs are intended for use on unbroken, non-irritated skin. It is not recommended for the face or other delicate areas.

Please Use Caution: Salt scrubs may cause surfaces to become slippery, due to the oils used. Please step carefully! Special Note: Because of Sea Salts antiseptic properties, it may sting on cuts, scratches or broken skin--so it is best used before shaving or a few days after.

Some of our customers have found that they do not need to moisturize after.

What are bath salts good for?

Salts are a simple and delightful way to add valuable trace minerals to the bath water which both softens the water and gently cleans the skin.

What are the benefits of your natural skin care clay masks and how do I use them?

Clays have been used for centuries as a natural agent to help beautify the skin. Clays have the ability to absorb excess oils, dirt and harmful toxins from the skin. Powdered clay is used as the basis for our facial masks.

These benefits are enhanced when powdered herbs and nutritives are included in the facial mask recipe. Applying our natural skin care facial masks in a gentle circular motion helps to exfoliate, cleanse and invigorate the skin while improving blood circulation.

To use:

1. Wet skin lightly.
   
2. Apply mask in circular motion.
   
3. Leave on to dry on skin for 10-15 minutes.
