Amazing Face Oil Found in Household Cupboards
Last week I was talking to one of my girlfriends who told me about an oil her mom is using on her face. She’s told me how wonderful her mom’s face looks and feels. Her mom herself, has commented on how soft it feels and youthful it looks. Needless to say, she’s only been using it for a couple of months.
Interestingly enough, she started using this oil only because her regular facial moisturizer ran out and needed something quick. What is this amazing oil that rejuvenates your skin by making it soft and youthful looking? I’ll give you a big hint, I’m sure most of you have it right now in your kitchen cupboard. Well it’s none other than your regular, olive oil! Amazing huh?

Sanitize Your Office Space
It’s Monday and many of us are at our offices. While sitting at your desk, take a good look at it. Are you noticing that it maybe a bit dirty with a coffee or food stain here and there or maybe even a “What is that?”
Well instead of using water to clean up that mess, you can sanitize your office area with some cleansing essential oils and this natural recipe below.
The essential oils which will be used in our recipe are not only excellent for cleaning your environment but also brightening your Monday mood! Lemon, tea tree and grapefruit or orange as well as any of the citrus oils are excellent cleansers.
So here’s what you’ll need:
- One empty 3oz spritz bottle
- Essential oils listed above of your choice
- Water
- Rubbing alcohol
Open the spray bottle and pour in 2 oz of water. Then pour in 1/2 oz of rubbing alcohol. We’re leaving room for the essential oils and to shake the bottle.
Now pour in several drops of the essential oils you’ve chosen to a max of 7 drops. ie lemon, orange and tea tree with the ratio of 3-3-1 respectively. Close the bottle and shake.
Start by spraying your desk and doorknobs then wipe off with a clean paper towel. Be very careful with your computer equipment and phone as to not spray them directly with the solution. Try spraying a paper towel first then wiping.
You can also use this same solution on your hands as a hand sanitizer!
Happy cleaning!

Refresh your face with this cucumber-yogurt mask
Yesterday I noticed that my facial skin did not look up to par. So I decided that I would use an old fashioned recipe I know with the base ingredient of cucumbers. Now even though I’ve know of the wonders of cucumbers, such as its cleaning and cleansing properties which helps your skin tremendously making it soft and supple, I’ve never really tried it till last night.
So here’s what I put in my mask:

Recipe:
1/4 seedless cucumber
2 tbls plain yogurt
1/2 tsp honey
Directions:
- First cut two slices of cucumber and set aside. These will be used to rest on your closed eyelids.
- Dice up the remainder of the cucumber and place in a food processor to blend. Blend till it becomes saucy like texture
- Pour into a bowl and mix yogurt and honey completely.
- Take some out of the bowl and smear gently on face, covering face completely.
- Lie down and place the two cucumber slices on closed eyelids and rest for 20 minutes.
- Rinse!.
When you rinse you will see how radiant your skin looks. While I rested, I played some soothing music to deepen my relaxation. Instead of water for my rinse, I used some cold chamomilemy tea to close my pores and extend my treatment. My face looked wonderful.
